    Erarta Museum presents an exhibition of mesmerising art objects – a cross between sculptures and video installations – by the Swiss artist MARCK. Most of MARCK’s video sculptures explore the role of a woman in the contemporary world, as well as gender relations and similar issues. One of the artist’s recurring images is the metal frame – a metaphor for the boundaries imposed by society. In this limited space, his female characters continue their ceaseless struggle in hope for a better future.

    “MINIATURE IN RUSSIAN MUSIC” Rubinshtein 12th International Competition
    The task of the Contest is to introduce the young generation of musicians to the origins of the Russian performing school and to acquaint them with the genre of miniatures in the work of Russian composers of the XIX - XXI centuries. Over the past decade, its participants have become more than 200 young pianists and vocalists from different regions of Russia and neighboring countries. The competition is held every two years in the following nominations: “Piano”, “Piano Ensemble”, “Ensemble”, “Solo Singing” and “Vocal Ensemble”. Age of participants - up to 20 years. The competitive auditions program includes miniatures of Russian and foreign composers of the XIX-XXI centuries.
