    Mravinsky 12th International Youth Competition
    Mravinsky 12th International Youth Competition
    The Mravinsky International Youth Competition was founded in memory of the great conductor in 1996. It is held every two years either for strings or for winds. In 2022, the competition will invite young violin, viola and cello players to test their skills. The main goal of the competition is to discover new names of performers and support bright musical talents, acquaint young musicians with different performing traditions, expand and enrich cultural ties between different regions of our country, contribute to the development and strengthening of international cultural exchange. The jury of the competition is composed of leading Russian and European musicians.

    “TRADITIONS AND MODERNITY” 9th Moisey Mazur Russia-Wide Competition of Chamber and Instrumental Ensembles
    The competition is named after the founder of the Okhta Center, Moisey Mazur. The music competitions include two rounds in three categories: Piano Duets Two Pianos/Four Hands, Chamber Ensembles (piano duets with a string or wind instrument, piano trios, quartets, and quintets) and Various Instrumental Ensembles (string, wind, percussion and folk instruments). The competitive auditions will feature music by both Russian and foreign composers.

Competitive auditions will be held in three categories: Piano Solo, Piano Duets, and Chamber Music Ensembles Including a Piano. By participating in the competition, young musicians can discover new horizons in performing art and further their professional skills.

Dürer was a painter and graphic artist, but in the history of European culture his name is, first of all, the symbol of the brilliant golden age of the German Renaissance. Thanks to his contribution, graphics have become a high art, capable of competing with painting. The exhibition features engravings by Dürer from the collection of the Hermitage Museum.
