    Choral Forum
    The forum program annually brings together the best amateur choirs from St. Petersburg. This year the Collegium Cantus Chamber Choir, Kudryavtseva Choir of Lovers of Singing, Youth Rondo Choir and the Vyborg Side Club Veterans Choir will present their skills. The program includes: processing of folk songs, author's arrangements, music by composers of the 19th century and works by contemporary authors.

    “DACH_FEST 2020” 2nd Festival of German-Speaking Countries in St. Petersburg
    “Classics in Music” is the theme of the second festival of German-speaking cultures. The large-scale project will include film screenings, lectures, exhibitions and round tables. During the festival, residents of St. Petersburg will have a chance to watch the feature film “Heinrich Heine”, visit the exhibition of illustrator Yulia Kursheva, and take part in a round table entitled “Mikhail Lermontov in the Germanspeaking space”.

    “MASLENITSA IN SONG” 5th International Festival
    The Maslenitsa Week in the Mariinsky Theater will feature concerts of Russian and foreign singing groups. The choral festival will open with a performance entitled “Characters of Russian Folklore”. A highlight of the festival will be the performance by the Ergastiri Psaltikis Choir from Greece who will introduce the audience to the Byzantine tradition of singing.

    The competition has been held since 2014 with the aim of professional support for young pop song performers. Artists, theater and cinema artists, students of theater and music educational institutions, as well as other performers aged 16 to 32 years are invited to participate. The skill of the contestants will be evaluated by the Jury, which includes leading composers, performers, musicians, poets and teachers.

    The competition dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War is held with the aim of patriotic, spiritual, moral and artistic education of the younger generation, preserving the memory of the heroism of the victorious people and preventing the revision of the results of the Second World War. Today, the Icebreaker "Krasin" is the only surviving participant in the Polar convoys during the Second World War, a symbol of military and labor valor. The works of the contestants can be performed in any technique (oil, watercolor, ink, colored pencils, crayons).
