    "CINEMA KIDS" 4th International Children's Film Festival
    The annual festival is held under the motto "Children make films for children!" The project is being implemented in a mixed format (online and offline). Young filmmakers from different cities of Russia, as well as countries of the near and far abroad, present their films. Each participant of the festival can try himself as a screenwriter, actor or director. The program of events includes lectures, master classes and creative meetings with the masters of Russian cinema, including Honored Artist of Russia Valentina Panina, theater and film actor Samvel Muzhikyan, cameraman Viktor Gonchar, producer, actor, screenwriter Vadim Karev, theater and film actor Oleg Kharitonov , cameraman Valery Blinov and others. The closing ceremony of the film festival and the presentation of awards will take place at the House of Cinema on April 18 at 12.00.

    "THE MOST READING REGION" 7th Russia-Wide Competition
    The constituent entities of the Russian Federation are invited to participate in the project, which must present their achievements in promoting books and reading, preserving and developing literary traditions in their region. The 7th competition is dedicated to the Year of Science and Technology in Russia, as well as to the 60th anniversary of the first manned flight into space. Therefore, special attention will be paid to activities aimed at popularizing non-fiction and scientific and technical literature, including space exploration. Applications can be sent until 09/10/2021 to the email address: litflagman@yandex.ru. The winner will be awarded the title of "Literary Flagship of Russia".     The competition was organized by the Presidential Library's first information and educational center in the North Caucasus, which was opened on the basis of the Republican TV channel of Karachay-Cherkessia "Arkhyz 24". The project promotes the popularization of the positive image of the North Caucasus at the federal level, as well as drawing attention to historical events, the beauty of nature and the richness of the multinational culture of the Caucasian peoples.     “DACH_FEST 2021” 3rd Festival of German-Speaking Countries in St. Petersburg
    DACH_FEST is an annual large-scale project dedicated to the culture of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Liechtenstein. This year the festival will be held for the third time and will be held at the sites of several libraries of the Mikhail Lermontov Interdistrict Centralized Library System. In the Mikhail Lermontov Central Library a series of events will be devoted to the theme "Schiller and Lermontov". On the opening day of the festival, there will be a concert of works by Brahms, Schumann, Mendelssohn and Reinberger. From April 13, it will be possible to visit the exhibition "Two Romantics", which will present the works of the illustrator Yulia Kursheva, created under the impression of the poetry of F. Schiller and M. Lermontov. During the festival, lectures and film screenings will also be held. Petersburg residents will be able to see the Swiss adventure film "Wilhelm Tell" and the three-part mini-series "Wallenstein" based on the historical trilogy of the same name by F. Schiller.

    The annual review of young talented performers is held at the initiative of the teachers of the St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov College of Music. Young violinists and cellists of children's music schools and art schools of St. Petersburg, the Leningrad region and other cities and regions of Russia are invited to participate. The eleventh competition will take place online and will be held in one round. According to the established tradition, in addition to performing a compulsory program, participants are invited to perform a creative task, for example, to compose a melody to a given accompaniment or a variation on the theme of a popular classical piece. This year, young musicians will present to the Jury a study of their own composition.

    “LOFT” 2nd Theater Festival
    The Leningrad Regional Theater Festival was first held in 2019 and immediately aroused great interest among professionals and the audience. Its main difference is that Loft is not a competitive festival. This is not a competition, but rather a creative partnership of like-minded theaters. Another feature of the festival is the absence of repertoire restrictions. Theatrical collectives can present performances of any genre and stage form, premieres and outstanding performances of past seasons. This year theaters of the Leningrad region and famous Russian theaters from Moscow, Perm, Yaroslavl, Seversk, Novosibirsk and Krasnoyarsk will take part in the festival. The program will open with the performances of the famous director Kama Ginkas, which will make up the original triptych of the American drama of the 20th century: "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" by T. Williams, "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" and "It's All Over" by E. Albee.

    Events for the 135th Anniversary of Nikolai Gumilyov
    April 15 marks the 135th anniversary of the birth of the poet, critic, researcher and traveler Nikolai Gumilyov. A series of events organized by the Anna Akhmatova Museum in the Fountain House is dedicated to this anniversary date. In the memorial exposition of the Fountain House on April 14, an Exhibition of graphics, rare documents and photographs from the museum collection will open. For the first time, it will be possible to see autographs, including an unfinished poem by Anna Akhmatova "From Leningrad Elegies" and her notes about Nikolai Gumilev. On the poet's birthday in the Sheremetev Garden and in the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (where the ethnographic collections of Nikolai Gumilyov, brought by him from the Abyssinian expedition in 1913) are kept, a joint exhibition of the Fountain House and the Kunstkamera will begin. And in the evening, an essay performance dedicated to Anna Akhmatova will take place at the Fountain House.

    "DEDICATED TO ALEXANDER NEVSKY ..." 8th International Suvorov Patriotic Arts Festival
    In 2021, the festival will be dedicated to the 800th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding statesman of the 13th century, the saint of the Russian Orthodox Church, the heavenly patron of St. Petersburg, Alexander Nevsky, in whose honor the great commander Alexander Suvorov received his name at baptism. The annual project provides an opportunity for talented youth to make their creative contribution to understanding the great history of the Russian state. Schoolchildren and students will present their skills in several nominations: "Pop (pop-jazz) vocals", "Folk vocals", "Instrumental music". Soloists, ensembles, duets, choral and dance groups are invited to participate. In the nomination "Artistic word", in addition to reading poetry and prose, you can show fragments of performances, literary and literary-musical compositions. The festival program will be complemented by thematic training workshops and cultural and educational events.
