“THE AUTUMN OF THE RUSSIAN MIDDLE AGES”

The exhibition, including about 280 works from the Russian Museum collection, for the first time will present a large-scale panorama of the development of Russian visual and applied arts from the Time of Troubles until the 1690s. Among the exhibits there are unique items of Stroganov icon-painting and gold embroidery workshops, signed and dated icons by Simon Ushakov, Tikhon Filyatyev and Kirill Ulanov.
