In 2018, Russia will host the FIFA World Cup for the first time. The championship is scheduled in 11 cities of Russia. The matches will be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Volgograd, Sochi, Rostov-on-Don, Kaliningrad, Samara, Yekaterinburg, and Saransk. St. Petersburg has prepared a large-scale cultural program for this event.
