Alexandra Dubrovina is alumni of Ed. S. Kochergin workshop at Leningrad state institute of Theater, Music and Cinema in 1974. After her sketches dozens of theater rcostumes were made for the stagings in famous Gorky Big Drama Theater, Youth Fontanka Theater, Akimov Comedy tTeater,Theater of Music Comedy and other well known Petersburg theaters. Among them the shows "Cyrano de Bergerac" by Edmond Rostand, "The Snowstorm" by Alexander Pushkin, "The imaginary Invalid" by Moliere and others.
Alexander Dubrovin was born in the city of Kirov in <st1:metricconverter w:st="on" productid="1950. In">1950. In</st1:metricconverter> 1974 he graduated from Leningrad state Institute of Theatre, music and cinema. In 1978 Dubrovin was sent by appointment of USSR Ministry of Culture to Leningrad Pushkin Drama academic theatre for probation work. In the Theatre he worked under the guidance of M. F. Kitaev. From 2002 to 2007 Dubrovin was the main artist of the Theatre and since 2007 cooperated as the artist with different Russian theatres. In 2011 he was invited as the main artist to Tula Drama academic theater.
The exposition at the Theater Library will present costume sketches by Alexandra Dubrovina and Alexander Dubrivin sceneries sketches to the shows "Three Fat Man" by Yuri Olesha, "The Prince and the Beggar» by M. Twain, "How to rule a man" by Aristophanes "Lysistrata", "Princess Brambilla" by E.T. A. Hoffmann and many others.
